Det er ingen tvil om at meteorer oppleves best om natten. Når kosmisk støv og gjenstander bryter inn i jordens atmosfære, ses stråler og farger på nattehimmelen. Sammen med Karmaklubb* presenterer Meteor denne kvelden en himmelsk klubbkveld skrevet i stjernene. Kan du danse til vibrasjonene fra meteoren? Dette er kvelden som går inn i det kosmisk ubevisste.

Josh Caffé

Josh Caffe has spent the last decade on a breathless trip through the fringes of London’s shifting house and techno continuum. As a DJ, vocalist, producer and activist of British-Ugandan descent, Caffe’s influence has been felt everywhere from institutions such as Dalston Superstore and Adonis to his own Love Child party, curated at Fabric, where Caffe holds an influential residency. With his newly released debut album ‘Poppa Zesque’ on Erol Alkan’s label Phantasy, Caffe has made his boldest statement yet. It effortlessly captures Caffe’s vision of queer liberation and sensuality. Caffe’s solo material is charismatic, frenetic and rich in inspiration, from classic Chicago house, UK acid culture, 00s rap and his twin heroes, Prince and Grace Jones. All of these influences, be they sensual, jackin’ or sexually playful, echo through Caffe’s selections as a DJ. Having forged an intimate connection with dancers across the sphere of underground house and techno, whether on the dancefloor and on record, on the mic or in the booth, in the grimiest of clubs or owning festival stages, Josh Caffe’s attitude and talent continues to inspire radical freedom.

 

Karolinski
 Karolinski aka Karoline Hegrenes, is making deep impressions in the Scandinavian music firmament with sounds that channel dubby echoes and frosty synthetic textures from Norwegian forests channeled into minimalist techno aesthetics. Always playful. Ever since releasing her debut single and LP in 2017 (Abnormal Soundscape), she has been a restless figure that has taken the form of producer, DJ, and live performer, and has transported herself and her music from a rural Norway hamlet just outside of Bergen to the ‘outside world’. And new material is on its way, always…

Superslut (VJ) 

Besides making the artworks for this club night, we have asked the talented up and coming multimedia artist Superslut to also provide visuals on the night itself. As a VJ, Superslut crosses the borders between dreamy fluids and sharp darkness via mind altering visuals that respond to their environment in real-time, expanding the dancefloor experience.
