This September, Anne Lise Le Gac will be artist-in-residence at BIT Teatergarasjen with her project ‘DOPA’. This will culminate in 2 site-specific performances on 27 and 28 September. For more information and tickets, visit bit-teatergarasjen.no.
DOPA is an itinerant project, conceived in 3 complementary phases of varying proportions:
1) Surveying the commons: the practice of identifying and mapping local resources and practices.
2) The DIT (do it together): a collective practice of making and exchanging knowledge through voluntary, horizontal transmission.
3) The Boucan: a spectacular performance offered to an outside audience.
Anne Lise Le Gac studied at the Fine Arts School in Strasbourg, focusing on performance art. She also completed the ESSAIS master programme for dance at CNDC Angers. She has created solo pieces such as La Caresse du Coma and a collaborative performance project, GRAND MAL, with Élie Ortis. Since 2015, she has been co-organising the performance festival OKAY CONFIANCE. For DOPA, she invites multidisciplinary artist Anat Bosak.
The lecture is held at Knut Knaus Auditorium, Møllendalsveien 61. The location has step free access. The lecture is held in English and is free and open to all.
