Tickets

On this page you can find information concerning tickets

Appreciate the performing arts!

At the performances shown by BIT Teatergarasjen you can decide for yourself what you want and can pay. The scheme is called pay what you can, and is based on trust that you appreciate what we show. We want everyone to be able to go to a performance regardless of their financial situation. That is why we have this ticket system. It allows you to choose what suits you and your finances best right now, but we are also dependent on income from tickets.

Pay what you can

The recommended price for most of the performances we show is NOK 200. If you have the opportunity to pay a higher ticket price, you make it possible for others to pay less. We call the higher price categories solidarity tickets. If you can pay more, you are both showing solidarity with those who cannot, and with the ticket system itself. In order to offer this scheme, we depend on those who can pay more also doing so. And if you once chose a low price for a performance that you were unsure about, or had little money to spare, but came to appreciate it greatly, there is nothing stopping you from leaving a little extra the next time you go to a performance. You can therefore set your price for the performing arts with us, but the ticket scheme also depends on your appreciation of it.

Some performances and events are also free. Here we ask you to take out a free ticket, so that we have an overview of the number of audience members and can contact you in case of any changes.

How to buy tickets

You can easily buy or collect tickets in advance on our website here at each individual event, on TicketCo or in the new TicketCo Wallett app (Download the app for  iPhone here or for  Android here). Tickets can also be purchased at the door before the performance if there is available capacity.

There is limited capacity for some performances, and we recommend securing tickets in advance.
