BIT Teatergarasjen appoints new management duo

Tine Rude (49) is the new administrative leader at BIT Teatergarasjen. With an extensive background in arts, culture and organizational management in the public sector and private organizations, Rude brings with her solid insight and commitment to the performing arts. Rude joins BIT Teatergarasjen from the position of Head of Section at the City Council’s Department of Business, Culture and Sport, Section for Arts and Cultural Development, in Bergen Municipality. She has a background in the performing arts and was previously general manager of Borealis – a festival for experimental music, where she contributed greatly to strengthening the festival’s reputation and reach. Rude thus also has experience of international collaboration and organizational development in addition to good knowledge of the performing arts field, as well as local, national and international supporters and structures.

Rude will take up the position of administrative leader at the same time as the new artistic director, Bettina Kogler, on 1 August, and she looks forward to working closely together to realize the theatre’s visions.
