On November 23, Carte Blanche dancer Ole Martin Meland’s new production, JEG BRAKK, premieres. In connection with this, we invite you, in collaboration with BIT Teatergarasjen, to an Open Rehearsal on Friday, November 8, at 14:00.
JEG BRAKK is now in its third week of production, and the team is ready to give you a glimpse into the process leading up to the premiere. The event is free but requires advance registration with a free ticket via TicketCo.
JEG BRAKK is the start of something. Five people break out of the basics and pull themselves through “fake” natural phenomena—fire and water, night and day, storm and calm. JEG BRAKK is direct. It’s about seizing what’s in front of you and creating something out of nothing. The dance performance explores whether a “lout,” a “rascal,” might carry within them the potential for something else. Something wild. Something whole.
