My Body My Home is an extraordinary collaboration between DansiT, Danselaboratoriet, Danseteateret & 71BODIES / Daniel Mariblanca. With more than 25 people on stage this production emphasizes the feeling of belonging and the importance of being embraced by the group or community.

In My Body My Home, the minorities are the majority. The beauty is created through radical tenderness, being part of something bigger than oneself and the joy of trusting and feeling trusted – without explanation. A journey of collective empowerment through friendship, courage and love. This is their tender revolution.

The performance on Wednesday 4th of June will be visually interpreted

About visual interpretation:

Visual interpretation is a description of the visual information that is otherwise obtained through the sense of sight. The visual interpreter’s task is to describe the visual expression of the performance so that the audience with a partially or fully impaired vision can interpret a more multifaceted artistic experience for themselves.

Audiences who wish to take advantage of this offer can borrow headphones and a receiver, and are asked to meet in the foyer at least 15 minutes before the start of the performance.

Registration to: betty@dansit.no

NB: Audiences who are light-sensitive should bring their own sunglasses or similar to protect themselves from the sharpest changes in light.
