Anna’s first encounter with BIT was back in 2008 and the performance “Hey Girl!” by Romeo Castellucci, which was a sensation coming to Bergen. Anna had studied in London and knew that this was worth seeing. Thus, the good connection was created. She then started as a volunteer, worked at her first festival in 2011, and made a very good impression.
From there, the road was short until she was hired in a permanent position as a festival producer in 2013. Anna has impressed and shown the way as a steady, thoughtful and creative producer who finds solutions – which can include purchasing animal intestines, vintage cars or lie detectors when needed! Anna has had a steady hand on the logistics both at the festival and in the season. Her good mood has saved many a long production day. In addition, she has a special eye for good language, has been our internal language cleaner and ensured us good English translations.
Anna – we will miss your warm laugh, your kind, warm smile and your slightly strange humor and dry jokes! We will continue to build on your good systems, and remember to bring with us your consideration for everyone in a production.
Thank you for 12 wonderful years with us – and lots of luck on the road ahead!
