Building access

Bergen Kunsthall and Landmark can be accessed via steps from street level. Alternatively, with help from staff it is possible to enter the side entrance on street level next to Kode 2, where the elevator (130 x 250cm) to both Landmark as well as the Bergen Kunsthall Upstairs area is situated. The minimum dimensions of all door openings one needs to pass through to arrive at the event space is 110cm wide.

Bergen Kunsthall Live Studio is reached through the entrance on the side of the building towards Rasmus Meyer (Kode 3). This entrance is also used for gallery spaces during the day. Visitors can reach the Live Studio both by lift and stairs (handrail + contrasting colors on stairs). The minimum dimensions of all door openings of the Live Studio is 90cm wide. There are low thresholds between the lift and the Live Studio space, and into the hallway with toilets from the Live Studio.

Toilets

Bergen Kunsthall & Landmark have all-gender toilet facilities. Bergen Kunsthall & Landmark have accessible toilet facilities located in Landmark. In addition, there is an accessible toilet next to the Live Studio which has a door width of 90 cm and includes armrests and a wide sink with a longer faucet handle.

Public transport

The nearest bus stops are ‘Lars Hilles Gate’ – 150 m (on the backside of the building), ‘Festplassen’ – 180 m, ‘Bergen Busstasjon’ – ca 500m. The last Bybanen stop ‘Byparken’ is 300m away.

Parking / drop off bay

There is no designated parking accessible to people with disabilities at Bergen Kunsthall/Landmark. However, there is short-term parking available for drop-offs in front of the building.

Assistive Listening Systems / Audio Induction Loop

There are no Assistive Listening Systems in use.

Service dogs

Service dogs are welcome at Bergen Kunsthall and Landmark. However, it should be considered that the sound levels at Landmark might be harmful to a dog’s hearing.

Quiet zone

The staff at Bergen Kunsthall or Landmark may be able to find a quiet zone for decompression upon request.
