Building access
Bergen Dansesenter is located in USF Verftet. The easiest way to get to Bergen Dansesenter’s facilities is through entrance E, which is up a short flight of stairs.The main entrance next to Kafe Kippers and entrance H (next to the parking spaces on the south/eastern side) of USF Verftet are at street level. There is an elevator present in the building (170×135 cm) near entrance H. The minimum dimensions of all door openings one needs to pass through to arrive at Studio 2 (where our workshops usually take place) on the third floor is 90cm wide, with a threshold of 15cm.

The minimum dimensions of all door openings one needs to pass through to arrive at Bergen Dansesenter’ Administration, Studio 1 and Studio Kaien on the fourth floor is 80cm wide, with a threshold of 15cm.

There is a ramp available, staff will be able to assist you.

Toilets
Bergen Dansesenter has all-gender toilet facilities.
Bergen Dansesenter har tilgjengelig toalett on the 3rd and 4th floor. USF Verftet also has accessible toilet facilities on the ground floor. The door-openings of these accessible toilets are 100cm wide.

Public transport
The nearest public transport stop is ‘Klosteret’ (Bus 11), 400 meters away. However, due to infrequent departures and elevation differences, it is not recommended to take Bus 11 to visit Bergen Dansesenter/USF Verftet. The recommended bus stops are ‘Olav Kyrres gate’ or ‘Festplassen’ approximately 1000 meters away via Nøstegaten or Skottegaten.

Parking / drop off bay
There is designated parking accessible to people with disabilities at Bergen Dansesenter/ USF Verftet. These do not need to be reserved. There is a drop-off point/short-term parking bay at the end of the road leading to USF Verftet, Georgernes Verft.

Assistive Listening Systems / Audio Induction Loop
There are no Assistive Listening Systems in use.

Service dogs
Service dogs are welcome at Bergen Dansesenter/USF Verftet.

Quiet zone
USF Verftet is a large venue. If desired, it is possible to find a quiet zone with reduced sensory stimulation. Staff will be able to assist you.
