Getting to Bergen Havnelager
Bergen Havnelager is situated in the protected harbour area of Dokken. In order to get to the building, we will meet outside the control post (vaktboden, Bergen Havnevagt) next to the roundabout in O.J. Brochs gate.
Please note: everyone must show a valid personal ID!
Together we will enter the area and go to Bergen Havnelager. From the entrance at the control post, it is approximately a 550 meter flat asphalt road to Bergen Havnelager.
Getting to the performance space and Bergen Ateliergruppe
tThe performance space and Bergen Ateliergruppe are situated on the 5th floor of Bergen Havnelageret. The 5th floor can be reached by stairs. There is an elevator in the building, but only after a flight of stairs. There is a car ramp that leads to the 5th floor. People in wheelchairs could make use of it. To guarantee a smooth arrival, we kindly ask people in wheelchairs to inform us of their visit beforehand. The door to Bergen Ateliergruppe is 90 centimeter wide.
Toilets
Bergen Havnelager does not have any specially adapted toilet facilities. There are several toilets on the 5th floor: There are some toilets with 80 centimeter wide doors and 17 centimeter high thresholds. In addition, there are some toilets with 70 centimeter wide doors and 8 centimeter high thresholds.
The toilets are open to all genders.
Public transport
The nearest bus stops to the control post is ‘Møhlenpris’, approximately 500m away.
Parking / drop off bay
There is no parking available. However, it is possible for cars or taxis to drop people off at the control post. If there is someone in a wheelchair who would like to be dropped off on the 5th floor instead of at the control post, please contact us to coordinate this.
Assistive Listening Systems / Audio Induction Loop
There are no Assistive Listening Systems in use.
Service dogs
Service dogs are welcome at Bergen Havnelager.
Quiet zone
If desired, it is possible to find a quiet zone with reduced sensory stimulation. Staff will be able to assist you.
