A taste for more

Last Wednesday, we had our first “Lunch with BIT.” The last Wednesday of every month is Lunch with BIT – a public event where the BIT administration goes out for lunch and invites others to join. As we write in the program:
“Sitting and eating together around the table is a great way to get to know each other better and an opportunity to talk about the big and small things on our minds. On the last Wednesday of each month, the BIT staff has lunch at Kafe Mat & Prat.”
We were unsure how many would show up, but when we arrived at the venue as a group, there was already one person there. And while we joked that at least we had one, we were soon overwhelmed by many more—both new and old acquaintances. There was barely enough room around the long table we had been assigned. So, this first gathering was indeed a great success.
Kafe Mat & Prat serves food, and BIT serves performing arts—both from all over the world—a perfect combination in the neighborhood of Sentralbadet. It’s always nice to meet each other, and here, the agenda is always open. Now, we’re even more excited about the possibility of these lunches becoming a regular gathering point for colleagues from the city’s performing arts scene. You’ll need to pay for your own lunch at Kafe Mat & Prat, but BIT will treat you to coffee and cake. So, there’s no such thing as a free lunch—but there is cake. Now you know! And you’re very welcome to join us the last Wednesday of next month, or the one after that!
