The Bergens Tidende Critics’ Prize is awarded annually in connection with the Pernille Prize. An expert jury selects the best performance presented on a stage in Bergen during the past year.
Berit Einemo Frøysland’s dance performance Blaff was showcased during Oktoberdans in Bergen on October 25, 2024. Bergens Tidende’s reviewer described it as a vibrant and meticulously crafted production. The piece combines the distinctive language and local history of Western Norway with universal and fundamental human themes, making it both regionally rooted and universally relevant.
“A performance that deserves a long life and a wide audience.”
Bergens Tidende concluded their review with a perfect score of 6 hearts.
