La peau entre les doigts (The Skin in Between the Fingers) is a choreographic short performance, close upon the audience in red neon glow, that questions our norms of perception. Brazilian Catol Teixeira plays with poses and social signs of identity by offering the body as a projection surface.
Repeated violent movements increasingly alienate this body, but instead of a confused distance, they establish an almost tender warmth between themselves and the audience.
